My D.Phil. project concerns the construction and analysis of mathematical models of both single and collective cell migration, using the cranial neural crest as a model paradigm.
In March 2026, I will take up a role as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Mathematical Epidemiology, under the supervision of Professor Robin Thompson, also at the Mathematical Institute in Oxford.
In my spare time, I work on other projects related to mathematical biology, drawing on a broad suite of mathematical techniques including graph theory, optimal control theory, and solid mechanics.
Prior to arriving in Oxford, I studied for a MASt in Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge (Gonville and Caius College), and a BSc in Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh.
I am always keen to talk about maths and also looking for new collaborations, so please reach out if you would like to chat!
